Getting started

None. If your team can send a text message, they can use a Taskroot assistant. There is no software to install, no login system to learn, and no technical knowledge required on your end or your team's. Taskroot was built to be simple on purpose.
Any service business with a team. Taskroot has built assistants for wellness studios, law firms, biotech companies, salons, restaurants, healthcare clinics, and professional services firms. If your team asks you the same questions repeatedly, this works for you.
Most clients come in with knowledge that lives in their heads, scattered emails, or verbal routines that have never been written down. The discovery call is designed to surface that. What we need from you is the ability to talk through how your business actually runs. If you are starting completely from scratch, we can point you toward simple frameworks to get your SOPs drafted first. Writing them is your process. Building the system around them is ours.
Most builds are live within one to two weeks, assuming you come in with some documentation already in place. Existing SOPs, policy documents, an employee handbook, even rough notes all count. If your business is starting from scratch on documentation, plan for a longer runway while you get those materials together first. The build itself is fast. What takes time is having something worth building from.

How it actually works

ChatGPT knows everything on the internet and nothing about your business. A Taskroot assistant knows only your business: your policies, your procedures, your specific answers. It does not guess or make things up. Every answer comes from documentation you have approved.
Yes. There are three live working demos on the Taskroot homepage: one for a biotech company, one for a wellness clinic, and one for a law firm. Each one behaves exactly as a real build would for that type of business. Try one before you decide anything.
Yes. Your documents and policies are used only to train your assistant and are never shared, sold, or used for anything else. Your system is private to your team.
That is expected, and it is part of what the monthly retainer covers. When your policies change, when you add new services, or when your team grows, we update the system so it stays accurate. It is not a one-time build that goes stale.
